In doing some research this week I found a couple of articles that could be important to some of you truck drivers. Back in August of 2024 the Biden Harris administration provided millions to boost the trucking workforce programs. More than 3 million in grants to help improve driver safety and create career opportunities for veterans and rural communities as part of dividing Harris Trucking action plan. The US department of transportation federal motor carrier safety administration, (FMCSA) and announced an award totally nearly 3.5 million dollars to 27 different colleges and other commercial driver’s license training programs throughout the agencies commercial motor vehicle apartment.
